Rather than going to church this morning, I decided to spend the morning at the Buddy walk with some old friends. A beautiful day, a child felt loved, and an opportunity to receive love from others. I was reminded of what a beautiful person Kevin Peterson and his family are. I was reminded that the simplicity of a child receiving love was sooo worth it on a Sunday Morning.

O God, you make us glad with the weekly remembrance of the glorious resurrection of your Son our Lord: Give us this day such blessing through our worship of you, that the week to come may be spent in your favor; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
